So that book I mentioned before, Happiness Is, is now available in the Kindle bookstore for $0.99! :D

So that's 20+ artists, including myself, plus Matt's wise anecdotes, for 99 cents. That's a third of a cup of coffee. That's 4 quarters. It's a pretty good deal. :)

Happiness Is

Hi! Just wanted to announce that Matt Madeiro's new book Happiness Is was released last Thursday and can be downloaded FREE via subscribing to Matt's blog, here :) It will be available on Kindle for $1 later this week.

The book is about all those awesome little things that make life oh so goooood. It features illustrations from 20+ artists, including myself, right along with philosophical moments of clarity written by Matt. City in the Sky

Here is the full size drawing for City in The Sky by The Elevated. It's graphite on natural cover paper.

It's based on a dream where I'm on top of a floating city with the one I love. Just passing the time, watching the clouds, which suddenly part to show the reality of the mechanical behemoth that is the floating city. A little alien, a little familiar, scary and comforting at the same time. Somehow, peaceful.

Not sure why there's a dragon there :)
